Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation to Increase Prices for Organics

HOPEWELL, Va., March 4, 2010 -- Effective April 1, 2010, Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation’s Household Care business line will increase list and off list prices for products marketed in North America.

Organic products including quaternary compounds, surfactants, amine derivatives and specialty organic additives will increase up to 10% depending on the product.

Due to continued cost pressures, these increases are necessary to remain a viable supplier in this market segment.
